In the first week in April, 2014, the IUCN Environmental Law Centre held a meeting of the steering committee on Capacity Building for Protected Areas Law and Governance. Droit de l'environnement en Afrique : pour le renforcement de sa mise en oeuvre effective

Le Colloque international sur le droit de l’environnement en Afrique s’est tenu à Abidjan en Côte d’Ivoire, du 29 au 31 Octobre 2013 sur le thème « Mécanismes institutionnels et financiers de mise en œuvre du droit de l’environnement en Afrique dans la perspective du développement durable ». Regroupant une centaine de participants venant d’Afrique, d’Europe, d’Amérique et représentant les experts juristes de l’environnement, les acteurs de la préservation de l’environnement, les institutions étatiques, de la recherche, des universités, des institutions africaines et internationales, des ONG, des collectivités locales, du secteur privé, il a permis d’engager une réflexion approfondie sur les synergies d’actions en vue de consolider les acquis et d’ouvrir de nouvelles pistes pour favoriser l’essor du droit de l’environnement. …
