Conservation of Medicinal Plants and Traditional Knowledge in Bangladesh

IUCN Bangladesh is arranging a National workshop titled ‘Conservation of Medicinal Plants and Traditional Knowledge in Bangladesh’ on Tuesday 10 April 2012 under 'Conservation through Practice: Conservation of Medicinal Plants and Traditional knowledge by Involving Ethnic Communities' project . The aim of the workshop is to spread the traditional knowledge on medicinal plants and conservation initiatives taken by the ethnic communities of Thanchi, Bandarban which have been learnt from project activities during last 4 years. The workshop is also expected to deliver recommendations from workshop participants that will assist in implementing the next phase of the conservation initiative more precisely.
