IUCN Viet Nam would like to introduce its newest staff members, as well as to announce the promotion of a few worthy employees to new roles.

Mr. Jake Brunner joined IUCN VN in October as programme coordinator. He comes from eight years of running Conservation International’s Indo-Burma Programme from Washington D.C., Hanoi and Phnom Penh. He most recently established an NGO to support species conservation projects in Myanmar.

Mr. Vu Dinh Hung started his position as human resources manager in December. His long career in HR management started in the private sector, with jobs at Unilever, Prudential Assurance PLC, and Schmidt Viet Nam and representative offices of Schmidt BioMedTech (HK) Co. Ltd. in Viet Nam.

Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh was promoted to support officer for the Business and Biodiversity Programme, a progressively responsible post that will retain some of her responsibilities from her previous work as programme assistant in the programme coordination unit.

Ms. Ly Thi Minh Hai, formerly the environmental law coordinator for the Asia Regional Biodiversity Conservation Project, has been assigned a new position as networking coordinator for the Landscapes and Livelihoods Strategy and Biodiversity Corridor Initiative.
