Jordan and Egypt was selected as two country sites where this global project will be implemented. The four-year-project, which is implemented by IUCN Regional Office for West Asia (ROWA) and funded by OXFAM, aiming at empowering Bedouin groups to organize, work, network and raise their voice to lobby together and become part of the policy decision making process.

The project is expected to achieve a number of results that local communities will benefit from on the local and global levels, including:

1. Local group capacity Strengthened Organizational and Advocacy Capacities of Small Ruminants (SR) and Bedouin Groups in oPt.

2. National Bedouin Practitioners Platforms (BPP) National SR Livestock Practitioners’ Platforms initiated for policy dialogue in Jordan, Egypt and oPt.

3. A Regional Bedouin SR Livestock Platform Initiated in the Mashreq.
