The first phase of the Future of Sustainability Initiative (2006-2008) involved a review of a new generation of sustainability thinking with IUCN constituencies and the wider public through a series of global and regional forums. The results of this review are captured in the documents available under Resources. The latest IUCN challenge and innovations paper was discussed at the World Conservation Congress in Barcelona, Spain in October 2008.
