First kick off meeting of the Panel in Gland (30 March – 3 April). The five Panel members met in IUCN HQ to get to know each other, refine the scope of work of the Panel, and learn more about Holcim and IUCN. After this meeting, the Panel issued a document summarizing the work they intend to do in the following 18 months.

Work planning workshop: As a first step, IUCN convened a workshop bringing together Holcim, IUCN Secretariat and Commissions’ representatives to discuss the main objectives of the Agreement and how to make these happen.
