Since IUCN was created sixty years ago, the IUCN Members Assembly has increasingly passed more Resolutions and Recommendations regarding the private sectors' role in biodiversity conservation. These Resolutions and Recommendations have not only aimed to guide the conservation community on private sector issues but also to direct the IUCN secretariat's involvement with the private sector.
This section compiles all the Resolutions and Recommendations regarding the private sector that have been passed by the IUCN Members Assembly since its inception (see below).
