WILD 9 is gaining momentum. For the first time, the World Wilderness Congress will convene in Latin America. Scheduled for 6-13 November, 2009, in Merida on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, WILD 9 promises to be inspiring, active and productive! As with each Congress, there will be something for everyone - achieving practical conservation results through technical symposiums, plenary sessions, cultural events celebrating local heritage with a Mayan flare, and much more.
