Commission on Education and Communication
The Commission on Education and Communication (CEC) is one of IUCN’s six expert Commissions. The Science and Knowledge Management Unit provides the Secretariat link with CEC by supporting the implementation of its mandate and deliver agreed results within IUCN’s programme.
CEC is a global network driving change for sustainability — powered by more than 1,000 members who volunteer their time and expertise in learning, knowledge management and strategic communication.
Rod Abson, the Science and Knowledge Management Officer also serves as the Secretariat focal point for the Commission on Education and Communication, working closely with Cecilia Nizzola-Tabja, CEC Membership Liaison Officer and Wendy Price supporting the team.
