The latest issue of IUCN’s magazine World Conservation looks at the effects of globalization on the environment—both good and bad. From fisheries to food production, tourism to technology, what can the environmental community do to ensure globalization follows a more sustainable path? We hear academic, NGO, UN and industry perspectives on a range of topical issues including invasive species, wildlife trade, emerging markets for ecosystem services, strengthening global environmental governance and balancing tourism growth with biodiversity conservation.
