IUCN - Water Pavilion Agenda and Information

Water Pavilion Agenda and Information

24 September 2008 | News story

Water is a vital resource, and IUCN promotes progress and innovation in its management across the world. The Water Pavilion forms one of several theme Pavilions at the World Conservation Congress. All Pavilions are situated in the exhibition space at the Congress venue and are designed to provide a high profile platform for communications, networking and hospitality.

The Water Pavilion offers an opportunity for a flow of ideas between key players from all streams of water management. Different regions and themes are showcased each day by IUCN members, partners, and experts from regional offices and thematic programmes. A dynamic mix of open platform and audio-visual presentations and productive meetings creates a raft of opportunities to gather knowledge, build networks and form new partnerships.

But Congress is thirsty work, so join us at the Water Pavilion each day for coffee at our morning briefing sessions from 9 to 10 am, and a happy hour every evening.
