A move towards a transboundary forum for local leaders in Limpopo

Local government and traditional authorities around the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Conservation Area (GLTFCA) have unanimously agreed to have a regional forum at which local leaders could meet and share ideas on the transboundary management of natural resources. This was agreed at a regional meeting held on 1st to 2nd November at Tshipise Forever Resort in the Vhembe District of the Limpopo Province, South Africa, and brought together local government and traditional authorities from each of the participating countries (Mozambique, South Africa and Zimbabwe). …
