La UICN, Unión Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza, publica hoy, con anterioridad a la reunión del Comité del Patrimonio Mundial que tendrá lugar el 28 de junio al 8 de julio en Bonn (Alemania), una serie de recomendaciones clave sobre sitios naturales del Patrimonio Mundial nuevos y amenazados. La UICN recomienda retirar Los Katios de Colombia de la Lista en Peligro. También recomienda inscribir un nuevo sitio de Jamaica e incorporar extensiones considerables en dos sitios inscritos de Viet Nam y Sudáfrica.
