REWARD programme presents 5 case studies in WWF

During the World Water Forum in Istanbul - Turkey, IUCN Regional Water Resources & Drylands Programme (REWARD) has presented 5 case studies demonstrating the five REWARD pilot projects in Jordan, Palestine, Egypt and Yemen.

Those cases were presented from the IUCN Pavilion in the forum that was organized by the IUCN Water & Nature Initiative. The case of Zarqa River in Jordan was highlighted through a photo exhibition that demonstrated the environmental degradation in the river. IUCN ROWA has also supported the participation of the Arab Water Council in the forum and contributed to a number of sessions on Groundwater Management and Waste Water Reuse.
