El geoportal como instrumento para la gobernanza del Mar de Alborán

Una de las actividades que desarrolla el Centro de Cooperación del Mediterráneo de la UICN (UICN-Med) como socio del proyecto POCTEFEX-Alborán es impulsar el diseño y estructura de un geoportal sobre información de los recursos naturales del Mar de Alborán. Con el fin de conocer mejor las bases de datos e información ambiental de tipo geográfico sobre el Mar de Alborán disponibles, el pasado 17 y 18 de septiembre, UICN-Med organizó en Sevilla un segundo encuentro técnico invitando a participar a más de una decena de instituciones científicas, administrativas y académicas de ambas orillas y que fue inaugurado por Javier Madrid, Director general de Gestión del Medio Natural de la Junta de Andalucía. …
