Newly Appointed NBSAP Consultant

Ms Fine Tagi Ditoka has joined the IUCN Oceania team as its National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) Consultant.

Fine commenced work with the regional office in Suva on 1st April 2009 and is working closely with the Department of Environment on the Fiji NBSAP. Fine is one of those emerging young Fijian women determined to take up challenging consultancy work at national, regional and international levels. As a former Senior Foreign Affairs Officer with 18 years experience in various Government ministries, Fine enjoys coordinating and facilitating consultation forums for implementation of international conventions and treaties. Undoubtedly, Fine has a well established network with Government, Diplomatic missions, regional and international organizations and also at the provincial level. Fine’s vast breadth of experience and networking capacities will be a valuable asset to Fiji’s NBSAP and IUCN looks forward to ensuring this program is a success.
