IUCN Regional Director to Chair Pacific Conservation Roundtable

IUCN Regional Director for Oceania, Mr Taholo Kami, has been appointed Chair of the Pacific Islands Roundtable on Nature Conservation and Protected Areas. The Roundtable is the Pacific’s largest cross-sectoral coalition of non-government organizations, government agencies, regional organisations and donors working in nature conservation in the region.

Mr Kami will serve as Chair for the next five years. His appointment presents an exciting opportunity for IUCN to play a leadership role in conservation in the region.
