The IUCN World Conservation Congress, in particular the Members’ Assembly, is the main governing body of the Union. This is where members debate and establish environmental policy, elect the governing body and establish IUCN’s programme of work for the following four years.

- Contribute to IUCN’s policy and Programme by submitting a motion
- Participate in the elections
- Learn about the accreditation process to exert your voting rights
- Organize an event in the World Conservation Forum
- Rent an exhibition booth (information to be published in March 2008)
- Register for the Congress
