03 energy saver bulbs can save over 492750 Watts a year

What can you change?
Replace Electrical appliances in your home, office and school with more energy efficient products


*Replacing a 60W light bulb with 15W energy saver can conserve 45W per hour
 

1.    Cleaning a dirty air conditioner filter can save 5 percent of the energy used.

2.    Make full use of daylight. Avoid using artificial lights like bulbs or tube lights during the day.

3.    Avoid using the elevator, use the stairs as much as possible.

4.    Do not leave electrical appliances on standby mode; switch them off completely when not in use.

5.    Replace incandescent bulb with energy savers. They produce the same amount of light by only consuming a quarter of electricity.

6.    Utilize air conditioning only when it is really hot outside, otherwise use fans.

7.    Hang clothes on a clothesline instead of using a drier to conserve electricity.
