New Pacific Ocean 2020 Coordinator

Mr Sakiusa Tuisolia (Saki) is the newly appointed Pacific Ocean 2020 Coordinator.
He has started work at the IUCN Oceania office in Suva this week. Saki is an indigenous Fijian and is 42 years old. He is an economist by profession. He has a combined Government and commercial working background. He is a former senior bureaucrat in the Fiji Government and served for 7 years as an economist in the Ministry of Finance and National Planning and 7 years as Deputy CEO and Chief Policy Adviser in the Prime Minister's Office. He was CEO for Airports Fiji Limited, a Government owned company that looks after all of Fiji's public airports between 2003-2006. He is also a businessman and operates his own company. He has extensive Government, development and commercial/business experience and skills.
