Find environment experts at the touch of a button

An Ecosystem Services Expert Directory is now available for free online. Journalists, business leaders and governments can use the directory to search hundreds of environment experts from organizations such as IUCN, the Ecological Society of America and the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment’s working groups.

They can search countries, as well as speciec fields, such as water, biodiversity and agriculture experts.

The World Resources Institute, IUCN, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, and Earthwatch Institute launched the public online directory to make it easier for professionals to locate and contact specialists in ecosystem services.

“The Directory provides an opportunity for experts to share their work and ideas, thereby strengthening both their platform and their ability to communicate with political decision makers,” says Enrique Lahmann of IUCN.

The Ecosystem Services Experts Directory is a joint venture between the World Resources Institute, IUCN, WBCSD, and EarthWatch Institute, with support from the Ecological Society of America.
