A l’issue de l’atelier sur « alliance des parlementaires et élus locaux au service de la gouvernance climatique dans les pays de l’espace de la CEDEAO » organisé du 3 au 5 août 2009 à Praia sous l’égide de l’UICN, les parlementaires et élus locaux des pays du littoral ouest africain se sont constitués en réseau pour mieux s’impliquer dans la gouvernance environnementale de la zone marine et côtière de l’Afrique de l’Ouest. A cet effet, l’Alliance des Parlementaires et Elus locaux environnementalistes des pays du littoral ouest africain (APPEL) a adopté une déclaration et un plan d’action. …
