Three Day training workshop on project designing and proposal development

QUETTA November 23 2009. Inaugural session of a three- day training workshop on project designing and proposal development (PC-1 format) was held on November 23 at Quetta Serena hotel. The training workshop was organized by IUCN Pakistan Balochistan Programme.
In his opening address Manager IUCN Balochistan Programme, Zabardast Khan Bangash welcomed the participants and informed them about the aims and objectives of the workshop. The participants of the workshop were drawn from Balochistan Partnerships for Sustainable Development’s focused districts of Gwadar, Qila Saifullah and Quetta. Officials from the Provincial Government departments EDO Finance & Planning, EDO Forest, EDO Agriculture, officials from district Govt. Quetta Planning Section, and Balochistan Environmental Protection Agency attended the workshop.
Chaudary Israr-ul-Haq from CB Event Management and Research Associates Islamabad, and Saleem Khan Khattak from planning commission of Pakistan were the resource persons for the workshop.
This training workshop was aimed at addressing the weak areas of the district level and to equip the officials with necessary skills required for preparation of PC-1 document.
