IUCN to convene a forum on forests and food security

IUCN is planning to convene its State and Government members, NGO members; United Nations bodies and other international cooperating partners, international and local NGOs, academic and research institutions; and the business sector from Eastern and Southern Africa to a Regional Forum to discuss the link between forests, food security and finance in a changing climate. Sector hotelero cuenta con una guía para la sostenibilidad

UICN y Grupo Agrisal, a través de un esfuerzo conjunto, impulsaron la traducción al español de la guía de buenas prácticas ambientales “Biodiversity: My hotel in action”, con la cual buscan brindar al sector de la hotelería una herramienta que fomente su sostenibilidad. La guía “Biodiversidad: Mi hotel en acción”, se presentó el pasado 20 de junio, en El Salvador y se espera que facilite la toma de acciones ambientalmente amigables desde un enfoque práctico de la gestión hotelera diaria.
