New endemic spider discovered on St. Barthelemy

A new species of Ammotrechella beatriceae or St Barth Sunspider has been discovered by Karl Questel, a ranger of the Nature Reserve of St Barthelemy. This species is endemic to St Barthelemy, the French overseas territory in the Caribbean.

Scientific name: Ammotrechella beatriceae (Teruel & Questel, 2011);
English name: St Barth Sunspider.
