IUCN welcomes 48 new Members

On 5 September 2012, the 79th Meeting of the IUCN Council, meeting at the IUCN World Conservation Congress in Jeju, Republic of Korea, admitted 48 new Members to IUCN.

This image shows the courtship behavior of Indian Bull frogs (Holobatrachus tigerinus). During the monsoon, the breeding males become bright yellow in color, while females remain dull. The prominent blue vocal sacs of male produce strong nasal mating call.
