30 November 2010 | News story

Education on climate change will feature at the 2011 conference of the North American Association for Environmental Education. CEC National Activator Brian Day invites Commission members to attend or present.

If you are interested in education on climate change – please plan to come or to present at the North American Association for Environmental Education 40th anniversary conference in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, from October 12 to 15, 2011.

The call for presentations is open until the end of January and there is a strand of the conference dedicated to Climate Change and a Plenary panel with scientists from Canada, Mexico and the United States. If you have not come to one of the conferences – you should know it is the single largest annual gathering of environmental educators in the world. Come present or attend! See the call for presentations for details.

Brian Day, NAAEE Executive Director, is CEC National Activator for North America and the Caribbean.
