En la comuna de Panquehue, perteneciente a la Región de Valparíso-Chile, desde el mes de julio de 2010 se está desarrollando un trabajo en equipo entre la empresa minera Angloamerican-Fundición Chagres, la Municipalidad y sus 7 escuelas, destinado a producir un Manual de Educación Ambiental contextualizado a la realidad comunal.
